I am taking paracetemols as well as the tramadol, was advised to by the last doctor at clinic, but not helping.

I agree with the others, you need to be looking after yourself before other people's children. I know its difficult having to give up a job you enjoy, I've been there and it took me 2 years to adjust, but caring for children is hard work for the fittest. I used to go to work for a rest! I hope Tramadol doesn't make you sleepy or nauseous whilst you're looking after children, to add to your problems.

Hi all, Liz, thanks, I do have a list, even have a list of alterative drugs ha ha!! Its just that the last time she saw me, she insisted I get seen by the clinic before she agree to prescribe anything more. I have left a msg for the nurses, so far not got back to me, but I have my blood test tomorrow morning, so will try to catch someone then.
Will also ask about OT referral, as lots of people have said they are a big help. Cant get into the bath, havent since Oct 08, so would be nice to get something to help get in and out.
Will let you all know what happens, and thanks so much for the support x
Oh sorry, Mari, tramadol are prescription only, I take 100mg 4 time per day along with paracetemol. The clinic advised that I take the paracetemol in between the tramadol, but still no effect x

Hi Barbara - sorry to hear you have had no response. Did you manage to negotiate a few days break for yourself.

Thinking of you.
